We are pleased to announce the appointment of  two new members to the team, Liam Foster Raynor (Apprentice Engineer) and Callum Hodgson (Project Design Engineer).

Just before the Christmas break, Denatec took part in a Traineeship Scheme via Training 2000, where we were introduced to Liam; a young 16yr old who was interested in progressing a career in engineering.  Already able to prove his hands on abilities with his passion for building and fixing motorcycles, Liam had also developed some basic electrical and pipework skills, whilst also having received training via T2000 in subjects such as machining and welding.

Liam has now enrolled on an apprenticeship with Denatec and already hit the ground running, working on a number of jobs that has allowed him to develop essential skills related to assembly, product handling, installation/commissioning and pressure testing.

Then, no sooner had we started the new year, our order book ramped up even more and we were soon on the hunt for a Project Design Engineer to join the team.  Working closely with our chosen recruitment partner P2P Consultancy, the CV of Callum Hodgson was put under our nose.

With a First Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Design and a number of years experience working for a global manufacturer of O&G equipment, Callum has the perfect skill set and experience for the business.  Technical Director, Nathan Peel had this to say about Callum, “It is extremely difficult to find engineers with the right acumen, knowledgebase and experience for a business as technically diverse as ours, Callum ticked all the right boxes and we are so pleased to bring him onboard!”

Callum is already working on a number of high end projects, supporting the business not only from a design perspective, but also project and production management.  A great addition to the team.

Please join us in welcoming both guys on board and wishing them all the best for the future.
